Schooner Sunbonnet

Our Schooner Sunbonnets are ready to take on any sunny day adventure with their adorable wide brims that offer maximum sun protection! Each sunbonnet features a double layer - a high quality linen shell and brim, and an organic cotton lining.

Crafted from the finest fabrics, Seedling + Sprout bonnets are functional, timeless and classic. Intended for use from the newborn days through toddlerhood, our bonnets are made to embrace every season of life with your little ones. 

Based in Ikaluktutiak, Nunavut, all bonnets are proudly handcrafted in Canada with love and care. In an effort to keep our waste to a minimum and our attention to detail high, our bonnets are made to order, one at a time, in our home studio.

Sizing

The body of the Schooner Sunbonnet is intended to fit close to your little one’s head, with their ears covered. The brim gets a little wider as bonnets increase in size, so the 2T - 4T sunbonnet has a wider brim than the 0 - 3 months sunbonnet. If the sunbonnet is well-fitted and tied securely, then the brim should hold its shape without falling down into your little one’s eyes.

• 0 - 3 months: 14” - 15”
• 3 - 6 months: 15” - 17”
• 6 - 12 months: 17” - 18”
• 12 - 24 months: 18” - 20”
• 2T - 4T: 20” - 21.5”
